Do you believe women should have the same rights as men? Anthony Schifano (California, USA) Lama:   I do believe that women should have the same rights as men because they make up half the society. Sure, I do believe that women should be treated equally and have same rights as men because the only difference between women and men is their sex and biological structure. Saher:   Of course; women and men are equal. Both genders are human beings who live their lives, and they should live them equally. I think that nothing should prevent women from doing the same things that men do. Men can work in any field, and women can too. That is my opinionthat men and women should feel equal and should be treated equally. Society needs both men and women to have a great community. Tarik:   I believe that women should have the same rights as men because God made men and women with no differences between them except in looks. I even think that women act smarter than men in many ways. Women also can be great leaders, whether presidents, school principals, or leaders of companies. People think that women are incapable of accomplishing some jobs that require hard labor. I believe that women should be given the right to work in such jobs, but they should be given less amounts of work to do. Women also have the right to rest. As   proof, Adam and Eve were left in this world alone without any help to do whatever they wanted. Both of them were equal in everything. Nicole:   In my opinion, God created all humans equal. Therefore, women should have the right to do the same things men can do. Although, in the past, women lived a life of regret and punishment. Whenever a girl was born, she would be burned to death because people back then believed that females were a curse. Logically, when girls are burned, the female race would be eliminated; therefore, the human race would come to an end. When Islam came, it stopped females from being burned alive, and it gave women their right to heritages and other social aspects. Amro:   I think that justice between women and men is necessary for having a successful society. Prejudice between men and women is one of the worst problems that people can face. Palestinians try to avoid this kind of prejudice by letting women do anything they want as long as they dont disobey their religion. Freedom for both women and men is limited, but unfortunately some cross the line for their religions. I think that this is better for society, although some may disagree with my opinion and think that too much freedom is fine for society. Khaled:   I think that women must have the same rights as men, and sometimes I am surprised by countries that do not give   women their entire rights. God created women and men at the same time, so there are no differences between them. Also, some scientist said that women are smarter than men. For me, I think that it is better to elect a man to be the president because women have more emotion in these things. In some countries, women are treated differently in a bad way and are abused. This shouldnt happen because women have their own rights, and they should be treated the same as men.
